| This site is now permenately closed. I cannot get on my site without getting kicked off the internet; so, I created a new site: WesleyII. I have all ready posted there and would love your support and "followership" in this endeavor.

PS
I cannot spell "permenately" or "endeavor"; not to mention, I used a totally Teen Mania word - followership... what in the world? | | |
| I WISH I COULD BE EVERYONE’S BIOLOGICAL BROTHER. I hate the so-called “weirdness” that occurs whenever physical contact or emotional bonds are called to arms. I hate when one of my sisters desperately needs a loving shoulder to cry on and I am rendered a non-factor because we as a society, and do not think for a second I am leaving out Christians, cannot imagine intergender love without stings. I hate stupid boundaries, which have no bearing on anything; yet, have absolute power over everything. Do you think I am wrong? Ummm… you are wrong – point blank – period. If it is just me, then I hate it even more, because that either means all of the female friends who have ever needed me in that capacity have hidden feelings for me or I am just incredibly good looking. J Either way, I will always have two shoulders, no waiting, and no strings. J

| If you are at all interested in Jim Elliot, Elizabeth Elliot, or missions in general, my extremely long last post might be really interesting to you. Then again, it might not strike your fancy at all, but I like! :)

| This is my favorite CD... maybe ever! I know what many of you are thinking: Steven Curtis Chapman? No, I am not joking. Here's the story. My momma and I were on a little road trip to her hometown, Sylvania, Georgia, when we stopped at an outlet mall in Alabama. I had been on a human video team for about a year (not DRiVEN, but the same spirit), and we used a few Steven Curtis Chapman songs because his music is excellent for that type of drama and it is usually straight forward enough for everyone in the audience to understand; so, she bought it with the intention of playing it as soon as we started back on our journey. I had a muffled displeasure about this change of events, but I was not going to be selfish when she was doing most of the driving. Nevertheless, it was a time in my life where I was going through a tremendous amount of trails and I was completely open to The Spirit's movement from any direction due to my beleaguered, broken state. Whenever we entered into “Magnificent Obsession” and “Bring It On”, I felt as though Mr. Chapman was entering into my heart and helping to mend the wounds and pain. Then, I heard “I Will Carry You To Jesus” and “God Is God”. At this point, I knew this artist had to be an experienced, seasoned, Spirit-filled, man of Lord. All of this would have been enough, but then there was, and is, the song “No Greater Love”. This is a song about Nate Saint, Jim Elliot, and the other missionaries who went to minister to the unreached in South America. The song itself is wonderful, but few know the entire story behind the rather strange chanting, or singing, toward the tail end of the track. The man who is singing in his native tongue is actually one of the men who killed Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, and their comrades those decades ago. He, along with a good portion of the tribe, received salvation through Christ when Elizabeth Elliot and her troupe of remarkable women, wives, and children preached the Gospel to the very men who had murdered their beloved husbands and fathers. He now preaches in the United States with Steve Saint, Nate Saint’s son. Well, the book Through the Gates of Splendor really touched Steven Curtis Chapman (this book was written by Elizabeth Elliot about her husband and his exploits); so, when he heard about this man traveling across America, speaking God’s Word, he put forth efforts to find and speak to him. In what Chapman calls a tremendous blessing from above, this man actually came to his house where he has a small recording studio. The three of them, Steve Saint, this incredible man, and Steven Curtis Chapman, sat together in his home, singing to each other different songs of worship in their own languages. Mr. Chapman was allowed to record the song his new found friend sang about what his people call “the Man Maker” and place it at the end of a truly stupendous song about the selfless love and undying determination in the heart of a missionary as heralded and wonderful as Jim Elliot. The tribal lyrics of this song about Jim Elliot, his wife, and their book are sang by the same man who made their testimony so endearing nearly half a century ago by recklessly killing God’s anointed. Now, due to this, more people than ever before will be touched by what took place a continent away, five generations ago, when men and women of God took hell by the throat and called on the One who is Holy – we serve God.

| In regards to my last post, which I suggest everyone should read at least twice, I have received some flack about what was said; though, I am not sure why. I think this list is completely useful and wonderful. I cannot imagine where all of this strife could be coming from... oh, wait... the post was entirely superficial and chauvinistic in every way possible. Now, I see. I apologize to all of you as my friends and fellow “Xanga-ers”. I will try to be more politically correct from now on. Please forgive me for this dastardly thing I have done. L
